Who Is Logan Paul?

Logan Paul is one of the most well-known influencer celebrities in the world and has really gone through an evolution over the past 14 years when it comes to his content and his bank account. Logan is 24-years-old and originally from Westlake, Ohio but now lives in Los Angeles with an adorable Husky puppy. His younger brother Jake Paul is also a social media star and founder of Team 10. Logan started making videos at the age of 10 and nothing has stopped him even through some tough media scandals. Both of the Paul brothers love to play pranks on people and do extravagant stunts that nobody else has done. In the past, he has been known to go ‘too far’ with the lengths he goes to create original content. Often times it can be crude, dangerous, and insensitive to many people resulting in a lot of backlash.

Although he has super fans and haters, Logan has a massive following across all of his social channels. Take a look at his stats which are continuing to grow:

Logan Paul Net Worth Breakdown

Logan has two different YouTube channels currently, TheOfficialLoganPaul and Logan Paul Vlogs, which he will occasionally post on. TheOfficialLoganPaul gets around 200,000 views a day which translates $300,000 a year from ads. Logan Paul Vlogs gets around 1.6 million views a day adding up to $2.3 million a year from ads totaling his YouTube earnings to $3.9 million a year. That being said, all of his YouTube success does not come without obstacles. In 2018 Logan posted a vlog on his YouTube channel in the Aokigahara forest in Japan which is commonly known as the “suicide forest.” He was walking through the site with his crew when they came across a body hanging in a tree, which they then showed in the video. Instead of stopping right then Logan continued filming and afterward posted it for the world to see. There were incredible backlash and disgust from the public shaming Logan for using someone’s suicide to make money and disgracing that victims family. The video gained 6.3 million views in 24 hours and 750,000 people signed a petition to ban him from YouTube. After this Logan lost all types of sponsorships and respect from many of his loyal followers. He had been part of the Google Preferred Program which allows companies to sell ads to the top 5 percent of content creators which he then got dropped from, supposedly costing him around $5 million. Even though he may have lost out on some money, over the rest of the year Logan somehow still increased his previous earnings by $2 million

It took Logan a few months of dropping off the radar and staying out of the news for him to make any sort of comeback after the viral video. Over time he slowly started making content again but all of it was pre-planned to ensure nothing offensive or insensitive would be shown. Eventually, Logan continued to build up his YouTube again, created a podcast called Impaulsive, and sells merch under Maverick by Logan Paul. Impaulsive is still relatively new but has gotten a good response with a  4.5 rating on the iTunes store. Maverick merch, on the other hand, is estimated to produce $10 million in revenue annually.

In August of 2018 Logan and KSI, another well-known YouTuber facilitated a fight after they had a falling out online. In reality, the fight was more so to help build their brands and provide entertainment to their fans. The fight generated $11 million but ended in a draw, which wasn’t enough for the two YouTubers. Ever since the last fight, there have been talks of a rematch and they just announced that the rematch will be on November 9 at the Staples Center in LA. It is estimated that this fight will generate closer to $20 million, which surely is a factor as to why the two are fighting again.

If you are considering having Logan do a sponsored post you have you should be warned because according to Forbes, Logan makes $150,000 on every Facebook post and $80,000 for every Instagram promotion.
