In 2019, YouTube is dominating the entertainment industry. Now more than ever, growing on YouTube can take influencers beyond the small-screen as it’s the second most-visited site after Google. In 2019, some YouTubers grew more of an audience than others. Here are the top 10 fastest growing YouTubers of 2019.

1. MrBeast

  • 26.8M subscribers
  • Joined Feb. 19, 2012
  • Growth Rate: 101.5%

 Jimmy Donaldson is a 21-year-old American YouTuber who is best known for his money donation videos, experiment videos, and videos where he does a specific task for hours, or days. With his determination to finish challenges, he has become an extremely popular YouTuber with over 4 billion views.

Impressively, MrBeast gained 13.5 million subscribers this year, earning him the No.1 spot on our list of the fastest growing YouTubers. His videos gain anywhere from 1.6-70 million views, 15,000-1.6 million likes, and 70,000 comments. 

2. AzzyLand

  • Growth Rate: 64%

Azra Bajrami is a 28-year-old Canadian YouTuber who was recognized by YouTube as one of their top 10 most viewed YouTubers, with 1.9 billion views. She is the most viewed female creator on YouTube who first gained attention as a cosplayer.

Azzyland gains anywhere from 5.6-36 million views, 106,000-220,000 likes, and up to 24,000 comments. Azzyland gained 4.1 million subscribers this year, taking her from 6.4 million to 10.5 million.

3. T-Series

  • Growth Rate: 54.9%

 T-Series is an Indian music record label and film production company run by Bhushan Kumar. T-Series joined YouTube on March 13, 2006, but only started to upload video content in late 2010. By July 2013, the channel had surpassed 1 billion views. On the platform, T-Series has a multi-channel network consisting of 29 channels run by a team of 13 people. In terms of video content, the channel focuses on Indian music videos and Bollywood film trailers. 

After competing with PewDiePie, T-Series gained 42.9million subscribers in 2019. T-Series started off in January 2019 with 78.1 million subscribers. T-Series’ videos gain anywhere from 36,000-851 million views, 1.2,000-3.5 million likes, and up to 181,000 comments.

4. Morgz

  • Growth Rate: 53.5%

Morgan Hudson is an 18-year-old English YouTube vlogger and gamer best known for his videos surrounding pranks, challenges, Fortnite, and commentary. He is a well-known prankster in the YouTube community and has created challenges such as The Pause Challenge. His videos are mostly targeted to a young audience.

Morgz started out January 2019 with 7.1 million subscribers. In one year, he gained 3.8 million, placing him on our list of the fastest growing YouTubers. His videos gain anywhere from 2.8 to 18 million views, 51,000-487,000 likes, and up to 28,000 comments.

5. Tfue

Turner Tenney is a 21-year-old American eSports player who gained most of his success from playing Fortnite, as he is often called the “Best Player in the World”. For a while, Tfue made collaborative videos with JOOGSQUAD, making stunt videos, surfing videos, and cliff jumping videos. In 2018, Tfue joined FaZe, which grew his audience until he left in 2019.

Tfue gained 3.9 million subscribers in 2019. He gains 1-7 million views, 41,000-465,000 likes, and up to 10,000 comments.

6. Jeffree Star

  • Growth Rate: 42.7%

Jeffree Star is a 34-year-old American beauty YouTuber, makeup artist, entrepreneur and former musician. He rose to fame on MySpace where he promoted his brand and his electronic music as vocalist. In 2014, Jeffree created Jeffree Star Cosmetics; in 2018, he earned $18 million from his YouTube endeavors alone. He is currently the most subscribed beauty guru on YouTube.

Jeffree Star gained 5 million subscribers in 2019, jumping from 11.7 million to 16.7 million. His videos gain 3.8-36 million views, 122,000-1 million likes, and up to 96,000 comments. 

7. James Charles

  • Growth Rate: 31.4%

James Dickinson, otherwise known as James Charles, is a 20-year-old makeup artist and YouTube vlogger. He became the first male spokesmodel for CoverGirl in 2016, which earned him an appearance on The Ellen Show. Charles is most known for his collaboration videos with other prominent YouTubers and celebrities like Kim Kardashian. Despite his drama with Tati Westbrook in May 2019, Charles gained back and surpassed his subscriber count once releasing his “No More Lies” video. 

On his videos, Charles gains 1.7-18 million views, up to 1.6 million likes, and up to 133,000 comments. Like Tfue, James Charles also gained 3.9 million subscribers this year.

8. PewDiePie

  • Growth Rate: 28.3%

 Felix Kjellberg is a 30-year-old Swedish YouTuber, comedian, blogger, gamer, and co-founder of Tsuki Market with his wife Marzia. Kjellberg is known for his playthroughs of horror and action games, reactions, and skits. He is currently the second most subscribed YouTube channel and the twelfth most viewed YouTuber channel with over 24 billion views.

After competing with T-Series to be the first YouTube channel to reach 100 million subscribers, PewDiePie gained 22.5 million subscribers in 2019. Kjellberg started off in January 2019 with 79.5 million subscribers. His videos range from 1 million-229 million views, 170,000-9.6 million likes, and up to 1.2 million comments.

9. SSSniperWolf

  • 17.3M subscribers
  • Joined Jan. 19, 2013
  • Growth Rate: 28.1%

Alia Shelesh is a 27-year-old English YouTuber gamer. Born in England, Shelesh moved to the United States when she was 6-years-old. Her pseudonym, SSSniperWolf, is one of the main antagonists of Metal Gear Solid. She originally started off her YouTube channel as a gaming channel with her Call of Duty: Black Ops II videos. Since 2017, her channel has focused on reaction videos. Still, she remains one of the biggest female gamers with the largest following on social media and YouTube.

In only a year, SSSniperWolf gained 2.8 million subscribers, making her one of the fastest growing YouTubers. On her posts, she gains anywhere from 600,000 views to 10 million views. She also gains a range of 50,000-270,000 likes with upwards of 10,000 comments. 

10. Shane Dawson

  • 23.1M subscribers
  • Joined Sept. 21, 2005
  • Growth Rate: 18.4%

Shane Yaw, otherwise known as 31-year-old Shane Dawson, began making videos on YouTube in 2009, despite the fact he started a channel in 2005. He also acts, writes, produces in addition to being a YouTuber. Now known for his documentary series-style videos, Dawson started off by making comedic skits and sketches on YouTube while playing multiple characters and personalities. As his career develops, Dawson is constantly pushing the boundaries as a YouTuber, even collaborating on a makeup palette with Jeffree Star. 

This year, Shane Dawson gained 3.6 million subscribers. On his videos, he gains 13-46 million views, 570,000-1.7 million likes, and up to 159,000 comments.
