Twitch Career Beginnings

Ludwig became a full-time Twitch Streamer in 2019. From there, he quickly rose to fame as one of the most popular streamers on the platform. Ludwig’s humorous and engaging content built up his loyal audience, who loved watching Ludwig play video games or interact with fans from the Twitch Chat.

Ludwig amassed a following of nearly 3 million fans on Twitch, which led to his appearance in many well-known tournaments, streaming marathons, and charity events. Ludwig competed in an invitational tournament for a Pokemon game, competed in an amateur chess tournament, and started his own impromptu charity tournament: Ludwig Ahgren Championship Series 3, which raised over $261,668 for Gamers for Love.

Ludwig’s Twitch Subathon

Ludwig’s largest streaming event, his Twitch Subathon in 2021, went on for 30 days, causing him to become the ‘Most Subscribed Twitch Streamer of All Time’ that year. Ludwig streamed for nearly 280 hours during the subathon, playing games, participating in challenges, and chatting with his audience. He implemented “prizes” once sub goals were reached. He accumulated $1,434,850 but only profited $202,000, still a generous contribution to Ludwig’s net worth.

In 2021, Ludwig confirmed he had earned $3.3 million dollars through Twitch, making it a huge part of Ludwig’s overall net worth. Although Ludwig announced his departure from Twitch streaming towards the end of 2021 in favor of Youtube Gaming, his time on Twitch greatly contributed to Ludwig’s net worth and fame.

Youtube

After announcing his departure from Twitch live streaming, Ludwig moved his internet presence to Youtube. His main Youtube channel, Ludwig has 4.15 million subscribers, LudwigVODs, where he uploads full-length streams after they’ve gone live and has 198k subscribers. Also, MogulMail has 1.28 million subscribers, and LudwinClips has 685k subscribers, making his YouTube channels a mass contributor to Ludwig’s net worth.

Ludwig creates a wide range of content on his YouTube channel, including vlogs, comedy sketches, and highlights from his Twitch streams. He is known for his humor and engaging personality, and his videos often feature collaborations with other popular creators. Ludwig also continues to livestream video games through a partnership with Youtube Gaming.

In addition to his regular YouTube content, Ludwig has also been involved in several high-profile collaborations and projects. He has appeared on other YouTubers’ channels, including MrBeast and PewDiePie, and participates in charity events and other live streaming events on Youtube, just as he did on Twitch.

Ludwig’s interview with the CEO of Youtube has 2.9 million views, and Anthony Padilla’s video interview of Ludwig has 1.4 million views. Ludwig likely earns between $3,000-$10,000 dollars per Youtube video, making the platform one of the largest aspects of Ludwig’s net worth.

Music

Although music is not Ludwig’s primary focus, the jack of all trades has released a few songs of his own and collaborated with other creators to release royalty-free recordings of songs for other streamers to use.

“Lud and Schlatts Musical Emporium,” a Youtube channel created in collaboration with popular influencer JSchalatt offers copyright-free classical music and video game themes. Ludwig has also released many parody songs. One of his most popular music videos is a parody of the song “Bad Guy” by Billie Eilish, which he titled “Sad Guy.”

Ludwig has also been featured in the music videos for Bella Poarch’s songs “Dolls” and “Inferno.” While Ludwig’s music career is primarily focused on comedy and parody, his unique style and engaging personality have made his music videos and performances popular among his fans, all contributing to Ludwig’s net worth.

Events and Tournaments

Beyond being a competitor and participant in many influencer star-studded gaming tournaments and events, Ludwig has hosted tournaments and gameshows available to his followers and other influencers. His event, “Mogul Money Live,” hosted over 5,000 spectators.

Ludwig also organized an invitational tournament for Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in Las Vegas, Nevada, with 32-player brackets and a prize pool of $30,002 for both games, which later increased to $52,502 due to a partnership with Capital One. Ludwig hosted another Smash tournament in 2022 to raise money for VGBootCamp.

Ludwig’s passion for gaming and expertise in hosting events led to his joining Moist Esports as a co-owner. His ownership in Moist Esports and revenue from his events and tournaments—which subsequently increased his fanbase—contribute to Ludwig’s net worth.

Ludwig is also a company owner of his own, being one of the four founders of the creative studio Offbrand. He also marketed his own Mogul Moves brand! Like most influencers, Ludwig created his own line of merchandise for fans to buy to show their support.
