Boomerang and Kid in the Candy Store

In May 2016, JoJo’s hot single Boomerang was released on iTunes; a few days later, Boomerang was uploaded to her YouTube channel. Boomerang tackles topics surrounding online bullying. JoJo encourages victims of bullying to keep moving forward and not fight fire with fire, which is recognizable in the lyrics “we don’t play it like that, we don’t even fight back.”

Boomerang received a gold certification from the Recording Industry of America (RIAA) in February 2017, platinum in late August, and multi-platinum in January of 2020. Boomerang accumulated over 940 million views and five million likes on YouTube, making the song one of JoJo’s most popular tracks.

In June 2017, the Kid in the Candy Store music video was uploaded to Jojo’s channel where it attracted over 260 million views and 1.4 million likes on YouTube. Kid in the Candy Store is a vibrant pop song about a child’s love for candy. The music video radiated with positivity and exploded in color, which became the norm for a typical JoJo music video.

Kid in the Candy Store received a gold certification from the RIAA in October of 2019, while another one of JoJo’s singles titled Hold the Drama also received a gold certificate.

Blurt!

In 2018, Nickelodeon released the film Blurt!. The movie follows the typical life of a teenager named Jeremy who, after putting on virtual reality glasses, begins to spout everything he says out loud rather than keeping his thoughts to himself. JoJo plays the protagonist’s sister who tries to help Jeremy speak for himself.

The J Team

The J Team premiered on Nickelodeon on November 7th, 2021. This time around, JoJo is front and center in this musical adventure where she learns to love herself and let her real colors show with her sparkly clothing and signature hair bow. According to BBC News, her famous bows are “more than just a hair accessory” as they symbolize “power, confidence, [and] believing-ness.”

JoJo Makes History on Dancing With the Stars

JoJo made history with her dance partner, Jenna Johnson, on Dancing With the Stars for being the first same-sex pairing in the show’s history. JoJo and Jenna ultimately placed second overall for the season and received positive comments on their freestyle dance of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way”.

JoJo and Jenna received a perfect score of 40 for both of their dances, “I Love It” and “Born This Way.” By the looks of their performance, both the dancers had a blast, and JoJo, once again, showed off her talented dancing skills. Because JoJo considers herself a part of the LGBTQ+ community, the choice of song was perfect for her as she finally embraced her identity.

JoJo Siwa Net Worth

JoJo’s got a handful of other projects that have made her a successful influencer, and it’s no surprise that this ball of sunshine would have an impressive net worth.

Though it’s difficult to determine what the JoJo Siwa net worth is because of her affiliation with Nickelodeon, the revenue she receives with her JoJo merch and hair bows, her profit on social media platforms, and the ticket revenue from her world tour, we can safely estimate the Jojo Siwa net worth is far into the millions.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, the JoJo Siwa net worth is anywhere between 14 and 20 million. It’s been reported that JoJo has sold millions of bows and other hair accessories – the actual number is not confirmed – and has probably earned a decent sum of the profits. JoJo also makes a significant amount of money with her children’s books, an incredible feat for anyone, let alone someone so young.

Likewise, JoJo has a wide variety of merch that’s aimed at her younger audience. JoJo merch can be found at JCPenny as the pop star has partnered with the store to sell products that promote positivity and anti-bullying. JoJo even has her own line of strawberry-flavored cereal with General Mills, making it possible that the JoJo Siwa net worth will continue to climb as she releases more products.
