Top Instagram Fitness Influencers

By Editorial Staff

Have you ever been at the gym with no idea what to do and thinking to yourself, “Ugh…. I wish I had someone to tell me what to do, like a personal trainer…” Well, no need to fear. That’s why this list is here. I’ve compiled a list of Instagram fitness influencers who have built their platforms around making fitness and health more accessible to people who don’t have the means or the time to carve out a workout routine and/or nutrition guide for themselves.

Below you will find some of the top fitness enthusiasts on social media, as well as what their metrics look like and who/what their platforms cater to.

1. Analis Cruz

Analis Cruz, the first of our Instagram fitness influencers, is a Web fitness enthusiast who started posting workout routines, exercise inspiration, meal plans, and exercise tutorials on Instagram and TikTok in May 2020.

Cruz is outspoken about her fitness journey on Instagram, constantly being vulnerable and updating her followers. For example, on March 22, 2022, she posted a photo of her post-workout, letting her followers know that she had a bad workout that day and bad workouts were normal, encouraging them to be kind to themselves while on their fitness journeys.

She has since accumulated 480K followers on Instagram, an average of 56K average likes, 1.1 million followers on TikTok, and 20.8 million likes on TikTok. Her most commonly used hashtags are #fitness, #workout, #fitspo, #fitnessgirl, and #motivation. In addition, her interests are activewear, restaurants, food, grocery, fitness, and yoga. Most of her followers (83.02%) identify as female, and the age groups she attracts the most are women from 18 to 34.

Moving on to her performance on stories, her estimated reach is 29K, and her estimated impressions are at 33K, with a steady 3 stories posted daily. This can be attributed to her consistent posting, as she spends her days providing her followers with detailed workout routines and documenting what she eats daily to gain muscle. If you’re looking for a fitness guru as dedicated to mental health as she is to her workout journey, be sure to visit Cruz’s page.

2. Krissy Cela

Kristjana Eleny Cela, or “Krissy”, is one of the well-known Instagram fitness influencers and co-founder of Tone and Sculpt. She started her fitness journey about five years ago and has been documenting her progress since. Initially, she only filmed herself to sure her form was correct and that she was getting the most out of the work she was putting in.

She has Instagram and TikTok accounts and is also very active on YouTube. On Instagram and TikTok she dedicates her posts to quick workout ideas, promoting her app and her brand new workout clothesline called Oner active, and lifestyle updates. However, when it comes to YouTube she talks about the importance of working out for health reasons over superficial reasons, what she eats in a day, and leading workout classes that her audience can follow along with.

Now for the numbers, Cela has 1.06 million subscribers on YouTube, 248.2K followers and 2.2 million likes on TikTok, and 2.7 million followers on Instagram, with a whopping 81K average likes. Moreover, she has an engagement of 2.94% which can be explained by the fact that she posts about 3 stories a day and, in doing so, takes in 133K in estimated reach and 150K in estimated impressions.

If you’re looking for an online workout buddy who drops empowering tips on becoming a businesswoman in a male-dominated field, Krissy is the perfect match for you!

5. Stef Williams

Stef Williams is another of our Instagram fitness influencers who is also a trainer, owner of the WeGlow fitness app, and creator of activewear brand Sefi based in West London.

Her work is focused on training people on Instagram and through her app and encouraging her followers to avoid falling into unsustainable diet plans. Instead, she approaches fitness and health in a more balanced, holistic manner. Her philosophy is that everyone can find time in their day to do a short workout, even if it’s only 10-20 minutes.

Her content includes daily workouts, healthy meal ideas, inspirational quotes, lifestyle and fashion posts, selfies, and daily vlogs. She has worked with various brands, from the retail site Revolve to the famous Puma and the haircare brand Kerastase.

Due to her honest and entertaining content, she has garnered over 1.5 million followers and 36k average likes on Instagram. She also has an engagement rate of 2.34% and 21.92% notable users. Once again, most of her followers identify as female, with 79.12% of her audience comprising women between 18 and 34 years old.

Her interests include luxury goods, beauty and cosmetics, clothes, shoes and cosmetics, shopping and retail, and wedding planning, which makes sense considering she recently married her longtime boyfriend. Finally, she has excellent performance on Stories, posting about three times daily to gain an estimated reach of 75K and 84K impressions. Overall, she’s a pro who has been at the top of her game for years now and who just keeps getting better, which is more than enough reason to give her a follow.
