Animal is an easy and cute way to grab an audience’s attention and sure to brighten people’s day. With our furry friends’ popularity on the rise and using Neoreach, we have identified the top dogs on social media using overall performance data and audience demographics.
Using our “Top 10 Dog Influencer” List, we were able to determine the spectrum of viewers of each dog influencer’s overall following. We found that on average, fans of our four-legged friends spread between the ages of 17-29, with more than 70% of them being single women with no kids.
Number 1: Doug the Pug

Thanks to his adventurous selfies, creative captions, and funny costumes, Doug is the coolest 6-year-old pup ever to be considered as the most beloved dog on the internet.
Who could scroll past Doug’s loveable smile and squeezable wrinkles? Not to mention his owner, Leslie Mosier, uploads monthly parodic music videos of Doug dancing in costumes to popular songs or performing skits and spoofs. He is sure to make anyone crack a smile!
Doug’s Facebook and Instagram are his two most followed platforms, with 5.8 and 2.7 million followers respectively. Doug also receives approximately 120 thousand engagements per post on Instagram.
Additionally, his reach goes far beyond a social media aspect, due to Doug’s top-selling novel, talk show appearances on Good Morning America and the Jimmy Fallon Show, and celebrity acknowledgments and additional interviews.
Number 2: Marnie The Dog

Marnie is a 15-year-old Shih Tzu who is best known for her comedic Instagram posts and tongue that cannot seem to stay anywhere but outside of her mouth.
Ever since she was adopted in 2012 from an animal shelter, she has taken the internet by storm with her silly captions and adorable skits on Youtube.
Cumulatively, Marnie has a 2.7 million following across all social media platforms and a 7.5% engagement rate on Youtube. She attracts an audience of 17-24-year old females, most of whom reside in California and New York.
Marnie’s popularity originated from her Instagram, thanks to her owner Shirley Braha who initiated Marnie’s social media upbringing. From then on, Marnie and Braha have written a best-selling novel, created an app, and have been featured with celebrities all over social media and television.
Number 3: Manny the Frenchie

With over 4 million followers on his social media platforms, Manny the Frenchie is the most popular bulldog on the Internet and is recognized by dog lovers worldwide.
Born and raised in Chicago, the four-year-old superstar is known for his fun and quirky posts and “Instagram philanthropy,” where he and his owners continue to donate to the ASPCA, the French Bulldog Rescue Network, and numerous local charities.
Manny owns his own iPhone app, has been featured with celebrities such as Snoop Dogg, and is a sponsor for “Turtle Wax”- a brand of automotive products.
Number 4: Tuna the Chiweenie
If you are looking for a laugh, Tuna the “Chiweenie” is the dog you have to meet.
Tuna’s signature overbite has been featured in his funny selfies and videos across the web since 2012. He got his first big break after being featured on a company’s Instagram account and has been taking off on social media ever since.
Tuna has a mass following across social media and the U.S., with 1.9 million followers on Instagram and his very own book tour.
Tuna is also very popular when it comes to endorsements, working as a sponsor with major companies like Volkswagen, BarkBox, and Southwest Airlines.
Using Neoreach, we were able to identify Tuna’s audience, which mostly consists of single females ranging from 17-24 years old, with a concentration of 17% his fans living in California.
Number 5: Jiff the Pomeranian

Jiff is most famous for his role in Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” music video, which highlighted Jiff’s unique ability to dance and walk on two paws.

Representing 78% of Jiff’s followers are 17-24-year-old females who affiliate with top brands like Victoria’s Secret, Nike, and Starbucks.

Maru Taro is an adorable, fun, and fluffy dog from Japan who has been deemed “The Best Dog in the World” by Time Magazine.
Maru is famous for his “perfect” personality which is highlighted throughout his Instagram and Facebook accounts. His owner, Shinjiro Ono, documents Maru’s daily life and adventures.
The NeoReach team found it interesting that even though Maru lives in Japan, his audience location analysis reported that 20% of his followers live in the U.S., with 17% of them residing in California.
Maru’s top posts include photos of him interacting with other animals (like goats and horses), alongside his notorious smile captured in his posts.
Number 7: Harlow and Friends
Harlow and Sage, a dynamic doggy duo, have dominated the internet since 2013 with their Instagram posts featuring the two cuddling and loving each other.
Later in 2013, Indiana was introduced to the pack, rocketing the dogs’ following across social media and leading them to have over 2 million followers today.
The dogs’ social outreach stretches far beyond the internet, thanks to their best-selling novel Harlow and Sage (and Indiana): A True Story About Best Friends and book tour.
Using Neoreach, we identified that 78% of Harlow and Friends’ followers are single women between the ages of 20-29, and 17% of those women living in California.
Number 8: Bodhi the Menswear Dog

Bodhi is best known for his handsome poses which feature him dressed in men’s clothing and portray him taking on the role of a male model.
For dog and clothing lovers alike, Bodhi is the perfect figure for both realms. Bodhi’s most popular gigs include his modeling contract with Coach, writing a best-selling novel, and owning his own collection for Menswear Daily.
With over 308K followers on Instagram and a growing audience, Bodhi is one of the most famous dogs on the Internet, harvesting an audience across the globe with locations ranging from the U.S. to Australia.
Number 9: Loki the Wolfdog
Since 2012 Loki and his owner, Kelly Lund, have inspired dog owners to get out and enjoy nature with man’s best friend.

Number 10: Crusoe the Celebrity Dachshund

With over 2 million followers worldwide, Crusoe has become one of the most well-known dogs on the Internet, thanks to his crazy costumes and comedic captions that are sure to make you smile.
Crusoe’s Instagram features photos of him dressed in unique outfits, such as a cowboy, Batman, a tennis player, a bumblebee, and more.
Crusoe’s outreach goes far beyond social media, considering he has published a best-selling novel Crusoe, the Celebrity Dachshund: Adventures of the Wiener Dog.
Crusoe’s audience is made up of 72% females, with 59% of them being married.
His followers are also affiliated with top brands, including Starbucks, Instagram, and National Geographic.
